Green/LEED Information
International Tile & Marble recognizes the importance of protecting our environment both through efficient manufacturing and building methods and the use of sustainable and long lasting building products.
The United States Green Building Council (usgbc.org), an independent organization generally accepted as the leading source of green building standards, sponsors the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
The use of many of our products can contribute to your LEED certified projects. These manufacturers may be considered because of natural raw materials, recycled content, regional location, or the low emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C.). Many manufacturers also meet the Greenguard Children and Schools Certification.
